Our Story

Who We Are

Mogaka Events Ministry started in 2019 with a simple observation: young adulthood is hard, and doing it alone is impossible.

We saw a need in Atlanta for a space that wasn't just another church service, but a community hub where people could bring their messy, unfiltered selves and find the grace of Jesus.

As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we operate with transparency and accountability, fully dedicating our resources back into the young adult community.

We are a faith-filled family on a mission to see young adults rooted in Christ and connected to one another.

Our Core Values

The DNA of our ministry.

Gather

We believe nobody should walk through life alone. Through local events, Bible studies, prayer gatherings, and our 24/7 digital community, we create spaces where young adults build meaningful friendships and experience Christ-centered community that feels like family.

Grow

Spiritual growth happens intentionally. Through weekly prayer, Bible study, discipleship, and honest conversations around real-life topics, we encourage young adults to deepen their relationship with Jesus and become rooted in biblical truth.

Go

Faith was never meant to stay within four walls. Through local events, outreach, and serving others, we seek to reflect the love of Jesus and make a lasting impact in Atlanta and beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions

Meet the Steward

Chriss Mogaka

"We believe young adulthood was never meant to be walked alone. Through Christ-centered community, prayer, Bible study, and authentic connection, our desire is to help young adults gather, grow, and go — while sharing the everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ and preparing hearts for His soon return through the 3 Angels' Messages."

Chriss founded Mogaka Events Ministry in 2019 during a difficult season of anxiety, loneliness, and searching for deeper purpose. In that season, God placed a burden on his heart to create spaces where young adults could find authentic connection without the pressure of performance. His heart is for the person who feels 'between' — between church services, between jobs, or between seasons of life.

What We Believe

We believe in the Gospel.

Jesus Christ is our hope and salvation. We believe in sharing the everlasting gospel and proclaiming biblical truth, including the 3 Angels' Messages, to prepare hearts for Christ's soon return.

We believe in Authentic Community.

Faith was never meant to be lived alone. Through prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and authentic connection, we seek to create spaces where young adults can gather, grow, and become family.

We believe in the Biblical Sabbath.

We believe the seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday) is God's gift of rest, worship, and deeper relationship with Him — a weekly reminder of creation, redemption, and our identity in Christ.

We believe in the Church & Great Commission.

We are not a replacement for the local church — we are a bridge — equipping young adults to grow spiritually, serve faithfully, and impact their communities for Christ.
